Catalogue with a selection of work of the art collection of De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). The art collection may be characterised as unorthodox and contemporary. Consisting of more than 1,200 works of art representing a variety of disciplines and styles, the collection offers a good overview of leading trends in contemporary art. It includes works by Marlène Dumas, Celine van Balen, Bas Meerman, Matthew Monahan, Michael Raedecker, Michael Kirkham en Kiki Lamers.
The grid of the design (page numbers & cover) is inspired on the design of the former bank-note of the dutch Guilder (on which De Nederlandsche Bank had the monopoly of distribution) and are printed with gold ink.
